200709 (wild child)
Gister heeft Jamie me voor gesteld aan een vriendin van hem. Daar heb ik een enorme ontdekking gedaan - niet alleen voor mijzelf - maar ook over 'hoe het ook kan'.
Zodra ik dat huis binnen kwam liep ik tegen een muur van liefde en licht aan. Het leek of de deuren van mijn hart werden open getrapt - en opeens was ik een ander mens. Ik voelde meer liefde en rust dan de pijn en rusteloosheid waar ik zo aan gewent ben.
Onbeschrijfelijk, zoals de eerste keer dat ik de bergen zag. Zo intens dat geen woord er genoeg aan kan doen. De eerste keer dat ik dat voelde was toen ik voor het eerst sinds jaren weer huilde. Alsof je opeens weer de warmte van de zon kan voelen - na jaren 'dikke duisternis'.
Dus 'hoe het ook kan' heeft opeens een heel andere betekenis. Voor een enorm lange tijd voelde ik me veilig in mijn eigen cocon, maar nu weet ik hoe naar buiten te stappen en te voelen hoe de wind langs mijn huid strijkt. Ik had altijd enorm veel moeite met mensen begrijpen - want dat was alles wat ik wilde. En hoeveel pijn zij mij ook deden - ik bleef om te begrijpen waarom zij dat deden.
Nu leer ik achter mij te laten waar ik zo lang op vertrouwd heb. Ik bouwde mijn leven op pijn, op gebeurtenissen die ik zou moeten verwerken en zien als leerprocessen. Ik hoop met heel mijn wezen dat ik deze rust vast kan houden, en me open kan stellen voor 'hoe het ook kan', voor liefde , voor licht, voor rust en vertrouwen.

Choices.
